2010 PLSS Instructors
| Chris Banholzer |
Chris will be coaching for his third year at the PLSS. He is 19 years old and attended Trinity Academy in Pewaukee, WI for high school. He currently attends the College of Charleston where he is on the sailing team. He grew up on Beaver Lake sailing Opti’s and X boats. In 2007, he was the X Senior Inland Champion and in 2009 won the 420 Team Race National Championship title. On top of that, he sailed in the U.S. Sailing’s Championship of Champions in the fall of 2008. Chris also grew up enjoying golf, lacrosse, and ski racing. He is greatly looking forward to this summer as head coach of PLSS!

| Lauren Galante |
|
Lauren will be coaching for her third year at Pewaukee Lake. She is 18 years old and attended Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, WI. She just completed her first year of nursing school at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she also sails on the club team. She grew up sailing on Pewaukee Lake for the past twelve years, and is very much looking forward to coaching another summer on Pewaukee Lake.

| Kelly Roy |
This is Kelly's fourth year coaching at the PLSS. A Pewaukee lake native, Kelly grew up sailing optis and X boats and now enjoys sailing her MC and E boat. She is 18 years old and attended Catholic Memorial high school in Waukesha, WI. Kelly now sails for # 1 ranked sailing team and 2008, 2009 National Champions, Boston College. She just completed her freshman year and is currently studying economics. She has had a very successful fall sailing, including winning the freshman Knickerson Intersectional Qualifier and taking 5th at Freshman Intersectionals. She is looking forward to another great summer with the PLSS! |

| Nicholas Clemence |
|
Nick is 16 years old and he just finished his junior year at Marquette University High School. He learned to sail on Pewaukee Lake when he was seven years old. He started in Optis and then moved onto X-Boats. He also sails 420's with the high school sailing team and is going to be sailing a C scow and crewing on and E scow this summer. This will be his third year with the PLSS and he is looking forward to it.

| Robby Johnson |
Robby is 18 years old and has just completed high school at Oconomowoc High School. He began sailing Optis at the age of 6 on Lac Labelle. He sailed Optis for nine years throughout the Midwest, up and down the East coast including Florida and Texas, in the Carribean, Canada, South America and Europe. He's been the Opti Inland Lakes Champion for two years and has competed successfully in national and international competitions. Robby has qualified to be a member of the United States National Team for Optis. He sailed X-boats for 5 years and qualified for BlueChip each year he skipped an X-boat. Robby has sailed Optis, X-Boats, Lasers, 420's,MCs, and C-Boats. In the future Robby hopes on becoming a teacher and loves using this experience to help him find new ideas for connecting learning success with fun. This will be Robby's fourth year as an instructor at PLSS and he is looking forward as head instructor to having another great year watching Pewaukee sailors love their sailing and their successes!

| Chance Dries |
Chance, a senior at Arrowhead High School, plans on studying at St. Louis University in hopes of obtaining a degree in Aeronautical engineering. He has been sailing for about 8 years starting his sailing career in the Pewaukee Lake Optimist program. After outgrowing the Optimist he moved on to skipping an X Scow for five years. Since retiring he has crewed on C Scows, E Scows, A Scows, and more recently sailed Lasers and 420 dinghys in high school competitions. In addition to sailing Chance is involved in ski racing in the winter and Frolfing (frisbee golfing) along with playing intramural Ultimate Frisbee when he can't ski or sail. Chance is happy to be back for another year at sailing school and is looking forward to getting out on the water. |

| Alli Gutenkunst |

This will be Alli’s second season coaching at the PLSS. She is 18 years old and will graduate form Catholic Memorial High School this June. In the fall she is planning on attending Saint Louis University to become a civil engineer. Alli grew up on Pewaukee Lake sailing Opti’s and X boats. She has sailed 420’s for the Milwaukee Youth Sailing Team since the spring of 2009, she also crews on an E boat and a C boat. In addition sailing, Alli shows horses and downhill ski races. She is looking forward to another awesome season at the PLSS!

| Sarah Seeboth |

Sarah will be teaching at Pewaukee for the third time this summer. She spent one summer teaching in Grand Lake Colorado, and is excited to be back at her home lake. She is 20 years old and is currently attending Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and is pursuing a degree in elementary education. She grew up going through the sailing school program at Pewaukee sailing opti’s and X boats, and now enjoys sailing her laser, crewing on her dad’s E scow and also races an MC. In the winter, Sarah also enjoys iceboating with her dad, and has recently been getting in to skiing. She is very excited to be back with the PLSS this year!
